German Princess First Royalty to Pose Nude for Playboy

Princess Xenia Florence Gabriela Sophie Iris, the Princess of Saxony, is officially the first member of the aristocracy, of royal lineage, to pose nude (or pose at all) for Playboy. And it gest better. According to Xenia, her great-great-great-grandfather, Frederick Augustus III, the last king of Saxony, “He was described to me as very humorous and loving. Playboy, with only a white sheet across half of her body. She is topless in additional shots in the magazine. In her interview, the socialite said that she wanted to show through her photos that “every woman is beautiful the way she is.”

Xenia is also a longtime reality television personality, so this isn't exactly a surprise, but it is history making. But she made clear that she wanted to make a broader point than simply making history, she wants to make a different to women (at least in her mind). She said that she has to “fight against prejudices all day long” because of her ancestry but also because of her body. “In some reality TV shows, I was the only one who didn’t have anything done to her body,” she shared, adding that “other women, some of whom had had a lot of surgery, said something like that I wasn’t any competition for them because I didn’t have any curves and wasn’t feminine.” She said, “You don’t have to conform to trends or have surgery on your body just to please someone,” finishing with, “I have stretch marks and I’m proud to show them.”
